I am a barrister with in-depth knowledge and experience in construction law. I am a Construction Contracts Act adjudicator under both the AMINZ and Building Dispute Resolution panels and undertake several adjudications each year. I have also acted for clients in multiple adjudications under the Act.

I worked for Kensington Swan from 2000 – 2016. I was a partner and co-leader of the highly successful construction law team at Kensington Swan from 2007 – 2016. In 2016, I decided to practice as an independent barrister with a focus on adjudication and strategic advice.

As well as adjudication, I am experienced in negotiation, mediation and litigation. I also draft construction contracts and consultant conditions of contract, and I am highly experienced with all New Zealand’s standard form construction contracts, such as NZS3910, NZS3916, and NZIA contracts.
